My book recommendations across all ages

The following is a list of resources that I recommend. If you have attended a face to face parent's evening or educational talk with me it is likely I had some of these with me. This list will be growing, as I only like to recommend books I have actually read and own myself, so as my library grows, so shall this list.

There are five sections:

  • The first is my list of age appropriate books for your pre-schoolers. These books would also be great for young school aged children too.

  • Second is primary school, again there is some cross over, be led by your child and when they let you know they are ready.

  • Third is tweens, depending on your tween some of the teen books might be good for them. My own tween has read the graphic comics in the teen section.

  • Fourth is teens, there is a mix of graphic comics and bigger text based books, if your child isn’t a reader the graphic comics are a perfect compromise.

  • The last section contains some books for parents, mainly mothers, fathers I am working on your section :)

These are all hyper-linked to Amazon.com.au. I generally find Amazon have the best online prices, but some of these may be found in your local bookstore and I encourage you to support them.

When you click on the links you will be taken to Amazon and often you will be able to click "look inside" to see a few of the pages, and to get a feel for the book. The links are also affiliate links, which means if you choose to purchase via this link Amazon may give me a small percentage of the sale, which I will in turn use to buy more books for my resource library :)
